Alicia Witt began performing music onscreen at a young age although she's more well-known as an actress. She has also performed as a vocalist and song writer. Following a stint as primarily an pianist, she dropped an eponymous EP in 2009 which showcased her obvious ties to the likes of Elton John and Billy Joel, and a strong vocal range to go with it. Revisionary History was her first studio album. It was recorded by Ben Folds. It was followed by a series of albums such as 2021's The Conduit, which marked her debut as co-producer. Alicia Witt first appeared onscreen in 1984 as Alia Atreides, a character in David Lynch's film adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune. It's not surprising that, when she was just ten years old it was assumed that she was being an actress despite the fact that she'd been playing piano since she was a teenager. While she appeared on screen more, her career as a musician did not start until the year 1995.
